If its spare local currency for a quick bite, some hand sanitizer or your hostel keys, keep travel essentials handy with the quick access stretch pocket handily located on the hip belt. Not just any backpanel, the strong, durable, die-cut spacer mesh hipbelt and harness allows you to carry your gear comfortably when travelling between hotels, the airport or beyond. Cushioned carry handles on the top and the sides allow you to easily grab the travel pack off airport baggage carousels.

And in addition to the pressure, the weight of the laptop is too much for the 2 little straps that hold the personal bag, so it starts sliding down below the level of the big bag and it just looks awkward. For my trip to Croatia, I bought one that would be durable, comfortable, and with a suitcase opening. It's a great travel option for trips that will include a lot of walking, maybe some backpacking, and even some rock climbing or other outdoor adventures.

Putting the larger compartment on the outside may seem nonsensical, but we found that this part was best for clothing and puffier, lighter weight items, so it didn't make the bag feel too unwieldy or unbalanced. The suspension system can be protected if you're checking this bag by zipping a protective flap over the shoulder and hip belts. Well that puts even more pressure on my shoulders area because the heaviest item in my luggage is far away from my back.The bag itself weighs about a kilo when empty, which is really good if I want to use the main pack for a weekend away, too. If you like your current Fairview perhaps the front clip is not a big enough reason by itself to upgrade/change.
