The TRUTHEAR ZERO are designed to follow the Harman 2019 target curve for IEMs, so it also follows our Harman-based target curve well. crinacle I know answering this question may not be in your best interest but is there any particular eartips you would recommend as a replacement for people who lose the ones that come with this headphone?

Mostly lurking around r/headphones as u/kmmbd and a very active member in local head-fi community since 2015. TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero:Red Frequency Response Looking at the frequency response graph, the TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero: Red aren’t that far from sounding neutral. If you prefer foam tips and have a pair you've used in the past, it could be worth switching out the default foam tips and using your own instead. There’s nice microdetail, with little nuances that characterize each note, thanks to the texturing and grit of the RED. As a result, lower frequency sounds, like the kicks and bass synth in songs like Kaytranada's 10%, sound more punchy than boomy.

Music is emotion, and this emotion is expressed, by the musicians, as a rate of change of both frequency and amplitude; as long as nothing gets in the way of this, you have a formulae for a good hi-fi experience. Basslines on the Zero are also somewhat messy to me (it sounds like kick drums with a longer decay bloom into one another), likely partially due to the absence of the characteristic 200Hz notch seen on the Harman over-ear target. Does the novel driver setup and Crinacle’s signature tuning manage to elevate the Zero above the rest of the competition?

Both have detachable cables with ear hooks, but the one with AS16 Pro is stiffer and has a less premium feeling. These in-ears have very good peaks and dips performance, so they follow their own sound profile quite well.

If comfort with the larger nozzle is not an issue, the quality of its bass, leveled treble, and the included 10 Ω impedance adapter make it an exceptional value. The largest peak occurs in the mid-bass, which adds boominess to kicks and the lower octaves of instruments. It's a similar story for technicalities where I find it to be a hair more refined despite it being a TWS. The 7HZ Timeless and the TRUTHEAR x Crinacle ZERO are both IEMs designed with neutral sound in mind. This essentially means a “clean boost” of sub-bass from 200Hz downwards, and an aggressive rise to the upper-mids from the low-mid region. These headphones only support audio when connecting their 1/8" TRS cable to your Xbox console's controller.
