Description

The fragrance contains fruity top notes of citrus, peach nectar and sweet bamboo awakening all the senses. I can't describe it properly-If I close my eyes it feels like I'm standing in the middle of a garden. The opening was a little green and generic; however, the dry down blossomed into a symphony of delights. I bought it mostly because I love cats, and the bottle is so cute--plus, the listed notes sounded pretty good to me.

I have had to learn to put down my biases, my prejudice to mass produced stuff I would be embarassed to admit I like. As to what this smells like, it's in the same general ballpark of ones like Lollipop Splash Vision of Love, which I think has a bit of a stronger or more articulate sandalwood type note. The way to open the bottle is kind of disturbing if you know what I mean but that's not stopping anyone from wearing this beautiful fruity scent! The bottle is a bit big and bulky but so cute I love the cat shape, it looks like Katy Perry was inspired by alien by Thierry mugler the bottles are a bit alike.

I like to spray this one on the back of my neck, and bask in the sillage as after all the sillage is what others smell on you. I thought it's going to be a sugary sweet fruity body mist type scent, very childish, but it's far from that. It’s definitely a little sharp when first sprayed but after like 10 seconds I start to get the sweetness of the peach and apple mixed with the floral jasmine and freesia.

it's not sugary sweet and florals are well pronounced in it also are well blended with fruit notes,I think it can be suitable for a wide age group not only teenagers. And it's a wild cat in late spring-summer: regardless of what the pyramid says, I hear plum with jasmine and tuberose. But I can also understand sweet smells seem to be dominant among celebrity perfumes and bargain finds. Purr is a concoction of peach nectar, forbidden apple, a distinct floral bouquet of jasmine blossom, Bulgarian rose, and vanilla orchid, with slowly revealing accents of creamy sandalwood and musk. There aren't any standout notes (to my nose) except maybe peach, apple and vanilla with some nondescript florals.

I love shampoo type of scents (hello heiress by paris hilton) and this perfume is definitely in my mind a shampoo type scent. I think the bamboo lightens the fruit note, so the sweetness isn’t heavy or oppressive in warm weather. I prefer scents like this to the "masculine" ones that seem to be meant for the same kinds of conditions/occasions (one just may want to wait for the drydown, if one feels he may be wearing a scent that is too "feminine"). I don't get the coconut scent at all but do get a beautiful floral possibly mixed with the bamboo note and musk. First of all I wanted it because the cat bottle appealed to my inner child , my not so long lost little girl.

This was my signature for six years and it probably still would have been, but learning of its discontinuation forced me to start looking for another cat-themed fragrance to love. I have to over spray a bit to get it to project like I want, but because it’s so cheap I truly don’t mind!
