I substituted the honey with blue agave nectar - similar taste to maple syrup and less expensive, and it tasted fine. I started with this one as I have had a few salt and pepper seasonings before, mostly on my chips and they tasted amazing. Probably about half way I started to smell them cooking, and mmm I was really getting hungry the flat was smelling amazing.
