Due to this, he has no idea about his past, how he ended up in this strange world, or how he has survived for this long. Rhymer probably worked very hard to make the original dialogue at least readable and probably that it was originally atrocious. But the final scene of this story shows a cat riding a bear down a deserted city street, and there are few things that would better qualify as "jumping the shark", aside from literal shark jumping.

Nothing violent is actually going on and he's using common everyday cat items to solve issues, like catnip to attract or incapacitate the cats, cat toys to distract them, water to repel and all this while being incredibly upset about the cats "hating him now" and having extreme internal clashes of conscience. Plus, long-time zombie fans will find plenty of references to classic zombie media, making Night of the Living Cat feel like a fantastic homage to the genre and its greatest creators. Nowadays, everyone sees films at Cannes and Sundance and believes that "Hey, Independent Film is just like Hollywood. When their cat energy merges into a massive mystical cat beast, will Kunagi be able to draw it away? One of the most fascinating things about the zombie genre is how easy it is to change and elevate the concept; allowing zombies to be anything from comedic fools to disgusting body-horror aberrations. A virus spreads across the world, transforming all humankind into wild, slavering, furry beasts- cats, to be precise.

Now, the last three Cat Girls left alive head for the only place they think they will be safe, a cabin in the middle of the Haunted Forest. The characters are also well-drawn, with their expressions and body language perfectly conveying their fear and desperation. This works incredibly well, making the manga stand out against other zombie series, most of which tend to focus on the start of the zombie outbreak. In the near future, a unique disease has swept across the planet: a virus that transforms humans into cats! It's a testament to the mangaka's talent that they can take something as seemingly innocent as cats and turn it into a terrifying apocalyptic nightmare.

A small group of cat-loving survivors is trying to escape the madness, but how can you defend yourself against a threat you just want to cuddle and pet? The survivors are constantly on the run, trying to avoid being mauled by the cats that have taken over the world.
