The rider is usually also equipped with a Bolt Pistol and a Chainsword, and can optionally make use of Flamers, Grav-Guns, Meltaguns, and Plasma Guns. Assault Bikes usually operate in Bike Squads of up to eight and are used for fast-moving assault missions, intelligence gathering, infiltration, and general reconnaissance. I definitely wouldn’t want to have to build five of them though. One was more than enough. Legion Xiphon Interceptor

Despite being a human faction - which are often considered one of the less interesting groups in the Warhammer 40,000 universe - most players have no issues playing with Space Marines, thereby making them an evergreen option within the grimdark miniatures game. Given the amount of support from Games Workshop over the years, there are dozens of units, chapters, and characters to curate your Space Marine army with. Having this amount of choice is fantastic, but it can also leave you feeling intimidated or overwhelmed when building a Space Marine army. Best Space Marine Units in Warhammer 40,000: Ninth Edition Variety: Space Marines offer a medley of playstyles thanks to Chapters. Chapters are sub-factions that each present unique traits and abilities. There are thirteen Chapters in total, with each chapter featuring unique models and lore to support their sub-factions. Wheels and Liv play Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team - Octarius. Before talking about individual flyers I wanted to say that I think the jury’s out on whether they’ll be useful. The interceptor reaction, and particularly the quad-las Contemptor with helical array, might mean they just die before firing. I don’t know if serious AA firepower will be something everyone takes but it could stop planes working unless they’re taken in very large numbers to overwhelm defences. There are things you can do to prevent things from intercepting (e.g. killing them or having a telepath tell them not to) so you might be able to build your army to make flyers work. You can give a Seeker Sergeant a combi-disintegrator if you’ve had the old “Imperial Space Marine” in your pile of shame, which I did. Yay!

Legion Outrider Squads were specialised units of the ancient Space Marine Legions that was employed during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy eras in the late 30th and early 31st Millennia. These squads were formed from experienced Space Marines expert in operating independently and often deep behind enemy lines.

Warhammer Community: Warhammer 40,000: More Models Revealed (24/05/2020) (Last accessed on 24 May 2020) Other: While the Land Speeder does have Fly, it’s not quite as potent as it was in the previous edition. It still allows for the most freedom of movement. Plus it can blow-up and perhaps take out an enemy on the way. One other funny quirk is that the Invader ATV rules don’t list “Angels of Death” or “ATSKNF”- is this an oversight and does the Invader ATV get those rules from something else or does it just not have those rules? Anyhow, the Land Speeder still wins this category. After years of collecting, buying and selling, building and painting, we realised that we had amassed a small library of Build Instructions, Assembly Instructions and User Guides for various Games Workshop products. None of their weapons are defensive so everything must target the same thing (bad if you have something like a multimelta and heavy flamer).
