The included art and etchings on the reverse of the albums look great but doubt it is something I would display. Confused because I’d heard absolutely nothing about it and shocked that it was at such a steep discount. Formed in 1990 in Los Angeles, California – Tool emerged with a heavy metal sound on their first studio album, Undertow in 1993.

As far as the actual album is concerned, the more I listen to it the more I'm coming to terms with how half-assed it sounds. This package features five 180gm black vinyl discs, with album tracks featured on Side A, and unique etchings featured on Side B.The song is presented on a Blu-ray DVD that features a ground-breaking short film directed by Dominic Hailstone.

Fear Inoculum scored well with critics with the exception of Pitchfork, which usually I take with a grain of salt because they are often critical of just about any album they review. But honestly I’m just glad they decided not to do stupid picture discs like they did with Lateralus. But even still, after thirteen years of waiting for new material, Tool fans deserved a better thought out album. The discs are packaged in a hard-shell box with new album art, and a bound casebook holding the vinyl along with new imagery not previously seen. The first official vinyl version made available was the ultra deluxe 5LP boxset, when copies signed by the band were sold exclusively at Tool shows from February 20 2022. Sounds equal to or at least as good as the CD box set, which my 11-year-old son has, also an excellent product. The world I am coming from - being super analytic and especially suspicious of Czech GZ pressings - was surprisingly impressed with the sound stage and pressing quality.
