It seems that Indigo adults often develop an interest in psychic or spiritual phenomena from an early age, much to the surprise of their family and friends. As an Adult Indigo and one of the earlier ones being born in the 60's my Journey on this Planet has been intense, intriguing and challenging. When I had conversations with most people my age I wanted to poke my eardrums out with a rusty paper clip.

This is perhaps nitpicky but I was also disappointed at the transhumanist agenda being pushed in this book. Singler's work focuses on the Indigo movement as a part of an overall discussion on "wider moral panics around children, parenting, the diagnosis of conditions such as ADHD and autism and conspiracy theories about Big Pharma and vaccinations. Individuals who refuse change and evolution and who desire conformity, are often in conflict with us. The Appendix is a quiz the reader may take to determine if they are an Indigo Soul and the book ends with a helpful index.You carry old wounds and fears about being seen and expressing who you are from past lives, so conventional methods of self-discovery such as psychotherapy may not go deeply enough to release what you’ve had to suppress in yourself to have a fleeting sense of “belonging.

There may be obstacles to face in life, but with the tools that Yol has taught me, I believe now that the inner peaceful smile I’ve gained with the inner work I’ve done can never be robbed or betrayed again.I highly recommend this book for anyone who is an Indigo and or lives with an Indigo and wants to understand them better. From a young age we have the feeling of being on Earth to accomplish a mission, a deep feeling from which we cannot divert our attention (some have been able, however, to forget it completely). It helped me understand that I didn’t need to fear the shift change of the new age I heard about before reading this book. Plus she teaches me how to use different forms of creativity to bring alignment to my true self and purpose.

There are also physical characteristics that can be seen in children and adults who are considered Indigo. We feel different, foreign to this world in which we often have great difficulty adapting, especially in our youth when we couldn’t understand who we were. In the book I am writing I address the paradigm shift and the evolution of humanity extensively but for the purpose of this blog I will try to keep it short.
