Under this weighty tome are yet more surprises: a notebook containing 104 pages from Thom Yorke’s library of scrawled notes of the time, a sketchbook containing 48 pages of Donwood and Tchock’s ‘preparatory work’ and a C90 cassette mix tape compiled by us, taken from OK COMPUTER session archives and demo tapes. We use cookies to give you the best possible experience on our site, provide personalised content and advertising, analyse our traffic, and ensure you see more of what you love. Pitchfork wrote that the best feature was "hearing how the lost material informs the original album".

Inside a black box emblazoned with a dark image of a burned copy of OK Computer are three heavyweight 180 Gram black 12" vinyl records and a hardcover book containing more than 30 artworks, many of which have never been seen before except by us, and full lyrics to all the tracks except the ones that haven't really got any lyrics. Before its announcement on 2 May 2017, Radiohead promoted OKNOTOK with posters in cities around the world featuring "cryptic" messages, and a teaser video featuring "glitchy" computer graphics and lyrics from "Climbing Up the Walls". Plus, the much-better-than-average extras disc contains songs (including three previously unreleased tracks) that preceded and informed the album’s creation. We will introduce you exclusively to Newpay finance products provided by NewDay Limited under this Introducer Appointed Representative arrangement.

Available to independent retailers on opaque blue vinyl and includes a digital download card for the 23 track album. OKnotOK features the original OK Computer twelve track album, eight B-sides, and the Radiohead completist’s dream: I Promise, Lift, and Man Of War.

Music videos were released for the three new songs, and "I Promise" and "Man of War" were released as singles. OKNOTOK features a remastered OK Computer, b-sides and three never before released songs: I Promise, Man Of War, and Lift. XL Records’ 20th anniversary vinyl reissue of OK Computer—subtitled OKNOTOK 1997-2017—echoes such prevalent themes: The struggle to maintain meaningful human interaction.Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. Exclusive to the box is a “C90 cassette mix tape” compiled by the band, taken from OK Computer session archives and demo tapes. A triple-sleeve Gatefold holding three 180 gram blue 12" vinyl records containing the original twelve track album, three unreleased tracks and eight B-sides, all newly remastered from the original analogue tapes. It also includes an audio cassette containing audio experiments, session recordings, demos (including demos for two previously unheard songs), and early versions of " The National Anthem", "Motion Picture Soundtrack", " Nude" and " True Love Waits", songs released on later albums.

It stands on its own as both a prequel and sequel to the original release, all the while revealing a more hopeful outlook. For items that are dispatched using our standard service, we ask that you wait 14 days from the date of dispatch before reporting any items as undelivered. In addition, and exclusive to the set, is a “C90 cassette mix tape” compiled by the band, taken from OK Computer session archives and demo tapes. The download and CD editions of OKNOTOK were released on 23 June 2017, and the boxed edition shipped in July. The box set comes with three 180 Gram black vinyl records featuring the album, three unreleased tracks and B-sides, all remastered.

OKNOTOK 1997 2017 comprises remastered versions of OK Computer and its eight B-sides, plus three previously unreleased tracks: " I Promise", featuring strummed acoustic guitar, [11] marching band-like drums, [12] and Mellotron; [13] " Man of War", a ballad with strings, piano, and electric guitar; [14] and " Lift", a Britpop-like ballad. Produced by the band and Nigel Godrich, the album features the singles ‘Paranoid Android’, ‘Karma Police’, ‘Lucky’ and ‘No Surprises’ and is widely cited as one of the greatest works of Radiohead’s or any artist’s catalogue.

Rescued from defunct formats, prised from dark cupboards and brought to light after two decades in cold storage. As with post-rockers Tortoise, Laika, and Seefeel, Radiohead have a fuzzbox or two and obviously know how to use 'em.
