Description

Credence had been sending messages in that same mirror, desperately, now having his identity, for he now wanted to "come home", though, at first, he was unaware the recipient of his notes was actually his very own biological father.

Against Nagini's insistence, Credence entered the circle and joined Grindelwald, trusting that he had knowledge of his true identity. Once there, Grindelwald told Credence that he had no further use for him and dismissed Credence as being a Squib, despite his promises. Despite Aurelius having found a place with his father, his uncle, meanwhile, was convinced that his nephew couldn't be saved due to his Obscurial nature poisoning him, meaning that young man only had limited time left despite Grindelwald's failure to kill him. Due to the repression of his magic from the amount of his abuse he endured, just like his aunt, Ariana Dumbledore, Aurelius developed a dark parasitic force known as an Obscurus and became an Obscurial twenty years into his life. PS: I know that possessiveness and exclusivity surfaced somehow but …too late for me, the damage was done. One of it is in Kaleb’s POV, and I think reading it helps you get to know him more and shows you the side of him the book couldn’t but you’ve always wanted to see. Grindelwald then presented him with a wand, and falsely claimed that his brother, Albus, sought to kill him, in reality part of Gellert's plan to use him to murder Albus, unknowing what truly happened that Summer in 1899.

He was sound asleep when he was switched in the crib by a young Leta Lestrange for her half-brother Corvus because he was crying. His mother's blood status is unclear, since Godric's Hollow had both a wizarding and a Muggle community.Credence's father, Aberforth, met his mother in the summer of 1899, meaning Credence was likely born nine months later, around spring 1900. Mixed with complex characters, atmospheric setting, and the author’s alluring story telling, this book will guarantee passage to one of the wildest (and most uncomfortable) rides you’ve ever had in your reading life.

The necklace was enchanted in someway, so it would allow Grindelwald to track the movements of the wearer.

This book definitely won't be for everyone, even previous fans of Penelope Douglas (even PD will tell you that herself in the author notes at the end of this thing - which are SO worth reading, by the way). She took Toulouse, since that dog gets along with me about as well as he would a wet cat, and said she’d be back first thing in the morning. But I'm so glad I am one of the ones who did and I commend Douglas for following her writing arrow and taking risks.

Shy and withdrawn, this made him far more vulnerable to the abuse that came in response to the slightest infraction of his adoptive mother's strict rules. The directors of the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald ( David Yates and David Heyman) appeared to confirm that Credence is indeed Aurelius Dumbledore; which was later verified to be true in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. Their books have been translated into nineteen languages and include The Fall Away Series, The Devil’s Night Series, and the stand-alones, Misconduct, Punk 57, Birthday Girl, Credence, and Tryst Six Venom. Summarily, this is a compelling read and I highly recommend folk ‘rip it off’ like a bandaid and take a couple of glasses of good wine to work out where they stand. It is also the surname of two notable Puritans, Praise-God Barebone [33] and his son Nicholas Barbon. Tiernan’s narrative voice and awareness is on point at times, but at others, that of a 40 or 45 year old who has had the benefit of hindsight to digest why things are and what experiences mean in the grand scheme.
