These two sorts disliked eachother but secretly wanted eachother at first it was Mia who was the first to have w crush and fall head over heels but knew it couldn’t happen so she choose the bratty sassy root making sure those walls were up and we for Garrett he started when he saw her on a cam app. Even some of the things Mia says about sex/sex work run the gamut from bizarre to distasteful— she makes several comments about watching people have sex being weird and uncomfortable, but that’s ~literally~ what she gets paid to do🤦🏼‍♀️ and when discussing another cam girl, she describes her as “plastic,” not genuine, and an unskilled performer who relies on her body. I really enjoyed seeing an extremely accurate depiction of functional depression with major depression episodes.

he did feel guilty for abit but that didn’t stop him for faking a profile and watching his step-sister get naked and play with herself. He has seen her as childish and annoying in the past and since there is a 15-year age gap between them, they don't have much in common. The personal growth of Garrett and Mia was phenomenal and I loved how it transformed their relationship as a couple. Best known for the Salacious Players’ Club series, Sara strives to take risks and provide her readers with an experience that is as arousing as it is empowering. Considering this, she contined to chat with him while sleeping with Garret and even accepting a gift from him.Now that I think about it, this entire book reads like a trope checklist with too much sex to fill the lack of character development. There is the obvious step sibling taboo, then the age gap, then the sex club/cam girl, then she’s a frickin virgin, then public sex and then mental illness. This was incredibly sexual but it also touched on heavier topics as well and done in a way that felt natural and right. Overall a satisfying read that gave me everything I love from steamy kink to adorably sweet to emotionally riveting. But I think it just showcases that its perfectly normal and okay that you might not care for one book by an author and you might absolutely love another, even in the same series.
