It has an app that you can totally control the pump with—power, vacuum, speed, & power pumping feature. Or you can control straight from the touchpad if you like. I want to note that the touchpad is touch sensitive, not pressure sensitive and is designed for a 2 second time delay to power on so that the unit isn’t accidentally turned on and off. That’s not to say I love everything about this pump. It’s a little bit noisy, the buttons can be either really sensitive or don’t work at times, and there’s no way to manually program the pump in the app – you have to run an actual pumping session and then save it to the memory.
