Description

There are several things to consider before you invest in a telescopic ladder. The first is quality. If a ladder is poorly-made, it’s not going to stay safe for very long. A good ladder is usually made from aluminium alloy, so keep an eye out for that. The rubber feet keeps the ladder stable and protects the flooring inside the home. The ladder can also safely bear up to 150 kg and the rungs are wide and deep to give you a secure place to stand. Once you are done, the ladder can be retracted to a height of 0.8 m and stored on a shelf or under the bed. In some cases, A-frame ladders are more popular because they feel more stable and can even be used by two people at the same time. If you like this type of ladder and want to try a telescopic A-frame, then this one should definitely be on your list. It’s adjustable, durable, and very steady. I’ve owned the ladder for just over a year and I use it everyday for surveying purposes. It’s proven reliable and robust.

There are dozens of telescopic ladders on sale, and many look very similar, but unfortunately, some are unsafe. Weight and storage space are also important. Choose a ladder that is light enough for you to carry and small enough (when fully retracted) to be conveniently stored under the bed or inside a closet. I didn’t feel particularly safe when I fully extended it (I’m a heavy guy), as it flexed much more than my regular ladder. Based on my 17 years experience of working with access equipment, I don’t think telescopic ladders are suitable for:Much easier to store– storing a telescopic ladder is easy, but if you have a 5m long ladder that will not fold down or become any smaller, keeping that somewhere hidden will be almost impossible! Conventional ladders have to be left outside unless you have a massive garage or shed in which to store them. This can cause them to deteriorate much faster and is simply not practical. The size can be adjusted in 1ft increments which is ideal for any tight jobs that require a specific height setting. You can work at smaller heights of 33 inches all the way up to 12.5ft for higher up jobs. Update 28th April 2023: The product has been recalled from end users by Super Smart Services. Additional information

Can be used as one straight ladder for full height, or folded in half to make an A-frame free standing ladder. First off, it just looks sleek and professional. But besides good looks, you can look forward to a ladder that is practical and safe. Like most other ladders, it can carry up to 150 kg and the 14 rungs are adjustable. You can choose different heights according to your needs and once the chore is done, you push one button and the ladder safely retracts itself. The Werner is a strong and sturdy telescopic ladder, with no concerning creaking noises when in use, and is an option you can trust to help you get the job done. The shortest telescopic ladders extend to around 2.6m (8.53ft) and the longest models top out around 6.2m (20.35ft). The question is what you want to be able to use your ladder for. Shorter models will be fine for general DIY duties in and around the house, while longer models will be required if you’re hoping to get up to the roof of your home to fix the guttering or replace tiles. Are they safe to use? A:In some cases, yes. That’s why it is important to buy a ladder with safety features specifically designed to reduce this risk.
