There’s a hanging point both in the inner pod and front porch for hanging lights or head torches (that’s what we did). Speaking of all weathers, we were hoping for snow, but on our first night, we didn’t get any. What we did get overnight was plenty of rain. With that end being just that little bit lower, it’s a little more aerodynamic and experiences less buffeted by the wind. Also, on the aerodynamic front, the mesh pole sleeves that reduce wind resistance are a must. They lower the amount of wind resistance and tent movement often experienced on similar tents without them. The front porch area has a big groundsheet that rolls out of the way when you don’t need it. However, we had lots of wet ground at our pitch so it was greatly appreciated and a very handy feature. There was plenty of room for us all and we made full use of the large front porch area to cook in.
