Al menos hasta ahora mismo, que vivimos la época mas baja en cuanto al personaje y mas triste al ver que la alaban tanto los que nunca han hecho ni puto caso al personaje. This is not the first time Punisher and Daredevil have crossed paths, but for my money, it is the definitive event. Even if the middle is near perfection I still think the ending of this Omnibus holds up extremely well too.

Best Issues Of Frank Miller’s Daredevil Run - CBR 10 Best Issues Of Frank Miller’s Daredevil Run - CBR

It's way too wordy (more a characteristic of O'Neil than Miller), but when you get through that you have a great emotional story about Melvin Potter [3+/5].This was Miles' first Marvel appearance, and it was so strong that he remained an in-canon character even when the Ultimate line shut down. My criticism of his run lies solely with the fact that he wasn’t also providing the story for these issues. The issue takes an uncommonly surreal turn, as over the course of his training, Matt experiences black-and-white tinged hallucinations of his early life, culminating in his father's final boxing match, where Matt is forced to fight his father as an embodiment of his inner demons. Nothing against the hornhead’s 60’s origins, but I’m not going to lie: most readers will want to get the origins and jump ahead to the Frank Miller era that defines the character we see today.

Daredevil by Frank Miller Omnibus Companion (Hardcover)

Hickman laid hints throughout his run that resulted in The Illuminati making so many bad decisions that it led to the destruction of the entire Marvel Universe in Time Runs Out and the Secret Wars. It's actually not a bad Daredevil crossover, since it's all about Spider-Man dealign with a temporary blindness, but in this era PP:TSSM was very much a soap opera, so we come in toward the end of his battle with the Maggia and we leave toward the beginning of his battle with Carrion, and there's lots of semi-comprehensible character subplot along the way. Joe Kelly is most well known for his 1997 kickoff to Deadpool (DD and Deadpool even crossed over for an annual issue! Daredevil appears briefly in Axis, but also continues to intersect with Iron Man’s solo stories as part of the event.Frank Miller had yet to come into his own as an artist, this just looks like pretty standard Marvel house work. The story, which was written by Frank Miller with artwork by David Mazzucchelli (the team behind the equally impressive Batman: Year One), starts when a down and out (and I mean really down and out) Karen Page sells Daredevil's secret identity to the Kingpin's agents. Waiting for that moment when I needed a guaranteed winner to wash the taste of mediocrity out of my mouth.
